The Marching Warriors is a precision marching band combining winds, percussion, and color guard. The marching band at Waubonsie Valley strives to provide a unique and excellent musical experience while promoting teamwork, dedication, and school-spirit. They perform at all home football games, competitions, parades, and other special events. The season begins in August with a week-long camp of intensive rehearsals and concludes in late October. Membership is voluntary, but requires a full commitment to the rehearsal and performance schedule.

Membership for the Marching Warriors
Any student in a curricular band class is eligible to join the woodwind, brass, or percussion sections of the Marching Warriors. Membership in the colorguard for the marching band is open to all students at Waubonsie Valley. Auditions are held each spring to determine membership in the colorguard and drumline. No auditions are necessary for band students who wish to play woodwind, brass, or pit percussion instruments. Registration information will be emailed home in March. Enroll in the Marching Warriors by completing registration and paying the materials fee.
