MORE ABOUT SCHLAGZEUGFEST
Schlagzeugfest is an all day percussion festival designed for the percussionists of Indian Prairie District 204. Schlagzeugfest translates to "Festival of Hitting Things," an appropriate name for a festival celebrating all things percussion. The focus of the event is to elevate percussion artistry across the district by providing clinic and performance opportunities for middle school and high school percussionists. Every year interested percussionists from Fischer, Still, Scullen, Hill, Granger, Crone and Gregory come for an opportunity to play and learn more about percussion. The day will include lessons (clinics) about playing percussion, rehearsals on a combined percussion ensemble work, performances, and more!
