2025 ILMEA auditions are held virtually in early October. ILMEA District 9 festival is in November at Dundee-Crown HS and the All State/Honors orchestras are in Peoria in January.
The District 9 audition will have three components:
1. State-required excerpt
This will be posted after IMEC in January.

2. District-required excerpt - For 2025, the piece will be the final movement of Dvorak Symphony No. 7.
3. Scales (C,G,D,A,E,F,Bb,c,g - three octs, two for bass, detache, qtr=120) - click below
Scales - no fingerings
You must attend the entire District 9 festival day and concert in order to be considered for State.
