Incoming Freshman Students Placement Information:
Concert Orchestra and Concert Strings 
In District Placement Information
All incoming 9th grade students will prepare the following video material and it will be submitted by their Middle School Director by February 3rd:
Violin:  2 octave D Major Scale
Viola/Cello/Bass:  2 octave G Major Scale
Everyone: #126 Mahler's Theme from Essential Elements Book 2 
Optional: Prepared solo if students particularly want to be considered for Concert Strings

For registration purposes, all incoming 9th grade students should register for "Concert Orchestra". Ms Tyus and Mr. Beder will change placements with Waubonsie counselors later in March 2025. Students will be made aware of placements by their current 8th grade orchestra teachers.

Chamber Strings and Chamber Orchestra
Auditions

Auditions are open to all Waubonsie students entering grades 10-12th grade. All current members must re-audition to stay in Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Strings. 
Advanced 8th students may audition with Middle School orchestra teacher recommendation and by submitting their video through their 8th grade teacher.
